CORONAVIRUS UPDATE: Water service is uninterrupted

Company Offices are Closed. Safe Water Service Continues.

We want you to know that we continue to provide a reliable and quality water supply while addressing the challenges of COVID-19 to ensure the health and safety of our shareholders, board, staff, our families, and our local communities.

Keeping Your Water Safe

Rest assured that the water produced, treated, and delivered by the Company is safe for your continued use and consumption. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) and the American Water Works Association (AWWA), our current water treatment and disinfection methods remove and kill viruses, including coronaviruses. Also, in compliance with our operating permit, we test and maintain a chlorine residual in all water delivered to shareholders to ensure it is clean and safe for use and consumption.

Keeping Our Community Safe

We are carefully monitoring local, state, and national advisories and are taking steps to protect the health and safety of our personnel and their families. We have shared and discussed with our team of employees the CDC’s recommendations and guidelines for minimizing the risk of contracting COVID-19, including minimizing gatherings of more than 10 people, practicing social distancing, and increased hand washing and sanitizing.

Furthermore, while our staff continue in their essential roles to ensure the safety and reliability of your water supply, our offices are closed to the public until public health restrictions are lifted.
